As we approach the holidays, many of you will be traveling.  Why not use it to meet some new potentials?  Here are some tips on how to do that!

If you are traveling to a place that you have been before, think about the people you have already met there. Make an effort to reconnect with them while you are in town, even if there was no love connection the first time. You never know who you might meet through them. If they live in this town, they know lots of people and places to go where you can connect with others. Ask them to show you around or recommend some places that are good to hang out. Make sure you contact them well in advance of your trip so they can plan for you. Offer to take them out to lunch or a ‘coffee catch up’!

To meet NEW people, look up singles in the city you will be traveling to on Match.com or whatever dating site you are on, or free sites like Craig’s List or Plenty of Fish.

Respond to interesting Craig’s list ads for that location. Send messages to Match.com members that are located where you will be going and let them know you’ll be around for a brief time. Don’t forget to follow the safety measures when meeting people online!
